Jo Saxton - Real God Real Life

Review from CEN: Deepening our spiritual life is an aim of growing Christians, and in this book Jo Saxton tries to explore how to put spirituality into our everyday lives. For many Christians, daily spirituality often extends no further than a ‘quiet time’, but drawing on the example of St Paul, she shows how it can be done. The book is split into two parts: the first looks at ‘heart practices’ while the second addresses ‘practising life’. She suggests that we follow Paul and ‘choose thankfulness’, resting on God’s love for all our needs. Saxton, who previously worked at St Thomas, Sheffield, is now based in America with her pastor husband and is a director of Pioneer Communities. Many readers may know of her from her appearances at Soul Survivor and Momentum.
